The Infiray Outdoor RH25 V2 is the next generation of one of the most capable thermal monoculars in existence. The iRay RH25 V2 thermal monocular is a micro 640×480 thermal monocular that is brand new to the market. Infiray Outdoors really packed in a ton of features with the RH25, and what you get is an extremely capable, high performance unit in a tiny package. Handheld, helmet mounted, or weapon mounted: the RH25 V2 is ready to tackle it all.

In all aspects, the RH25 V2 is a better, higher performance unit when comparing to the original RH25. What is the iRay RH25 V2 Thermal Monocular?

The Infiray Outdoor RH25 V2 is the next generation of one of the most capable thermal monoculars in existence. The iRay RH25 V2 thermal monocular is a micro 640×480 thermal monocular that is brand new to the market. Infiray Outdoors really packed in a ton of features with the RH25, and what you get is an extremely capable, high performance unit in a tiny package. Handheld, helmet mounted, or weapon mounted: the RH25 V2 is ready to tackle it all.

Features of the RH25 V2:

The RH25 V2 offers substantial upgrades over the original RH25 in terms of objective size, screen resolution, and <15mk sensor performance. All around, the RH25 V2 offers better detection, clarity, and performance in inclement weather when comparing it to the original unit. Infiray Outdoor held nothing back when packing this unit full of features and performance. Additionally, cable interface is now via USB-C. Users can still utilize the AC53 Obverse mount (like the original RH25) as well as the Pictail and MQD mounts for clip on usage. The RH25 features 7 different reticle types for standalone and clip on target engagements. Compact, elegant, durable, and ready to detect, pursue, or evade game or adversaries.

Which Helmet mount should I run with the RH25?

We utilize either the Wilcox G24, Cadex dovetail Helmet Mount, or the Norotos Low Sto mount. All three are solid options for any use case. Additionally, we only recommend [REDACTED] when it comes to bridging your unit next to another thermal or night vision monocular.

What is included with each RH25 V2?

The RH25 V2 is nicely packaged in a hard, water resistant case for storage and transport. Additionally, (2) 18650 batteries are included. Eye cups and covers are included. A battery charger and all necessary cords are included. A picatinny weapon mount is also included for mounting to most rifles. Please note: The INCLUDED weapon mount is NOT QD so it is NOT ideal if you want a fast option to switch between clip on or helmet mounted configurations. In our photos we show the AC53 Obverse mount (for left eye mounting) and the Pictail adapter for mounting to a rail QD style. The pictail interfaces with the MQD mount for fast mounting to any standard picatinny rail. The AC53 Obverse mount, Pictail adapter, and MQD Mount are accessories that are sold separately.

Frequently Asked Questions:
1.) What is the battery life of the RH25  V2

The advertised battery life of the RH25 V2 is 5.5 hours. We’re not sure how infiray outdoor figured out how to make the battery run time so much longer, but they did. The old unit had only around 4 hours. Enjoy the improvement.

2.) What are proper batteries for the RH25 V2? 

Included with this unit are (2) rechargeable 18650 batteries. Please note specifications on the included 18650 batteries. Any replacements purchased must meet the specifications of the batteries included from factory from iRay.

3.) What is included with the RH25 V2? 

The RH25 includes (2) 18650 batteries, rail adapter, weapon mount, eye cup, chargers, and various cables for charging, data transfer, etc.

4.) How much better is 640 vs 320 or 384 core?  

We used to really only recommend 640 core resolution for serious end users. With the newer tech from companies like infiray outdoor, that is all changing. With that being said, a 640 core resolution will still offer a clearer image over a 384 or similar lower resolution core. Ultimately, if you are looking for the best in performance and you have the budget to back that desire, having more clarity is never a bad thing.

5.) What about a warranty?

6.) Is a helmet mount included in the price above? 

No. You will need to purchase a helmet mount separately. Please see our web page discussing the panobridge to learn more about how to mount an RH25 to your helmet.

7.) Which bridge to we recommend for helmet mounting / bridging this unit with a PVS-14?

8.) Which eye should I mount the RH25 V2 over? 

That will simply depend on your preferences. With the Pictail mount, the RH25 is really only ideal over your right eye in a bridged configuration. If you desire to mount the unit on a bridge next to a PVS-14 over your left eye, you should get the AC53 Obverse mount. This mount will allow proper mounting over your left eye.

The RH25 V2 is packaged by Infiray Outdoor and includes batteries, a charger, cables as well as a HARD carry case.

Please NOTE: The RH25 V2 does NOT come with the AC53 Obverse mount, Pictail dovetail/Or MQD mount. If you would like those adapters, you must purchase them separately on our website.
