Panobridge Quick Disconnect
The Panobridge Quick Disconnect options are sold to fit a need for pre-existing PanoBridge customers. This accessory is a quick detach (QD) dovetail adapter for the Panobridge which allows for fast attachment and removal of imaging devices. It also features adjustable Interpupillary Distance. IPD adjustment allows for the attached units to be accommodated for a wide range of facial dimensions. The Panobridge QD also has the ability to fully rotate the unit away from the line of sight or tightly stow it against the helmet.
This product is designed for users of the Panobridge that have the extended arms installed (these come preinstalled on Panobridge Mk3), is specifically made to align an AN/PVS-14 eyepiece with the Infiray Outdoor® RH25 using the pictail adapter, and it can still provide an excellent experience with Trijicon SkeetIR, AGM StingIR, and N-Vision NOX18.
Right vs Left: which side is best?
When it comes to deciding which side is best for you, it will depend on a few things. First, you have to look at your units and decide which side the unit best fits on. Thermal units like the RH25 and NOX18 feature a battery compartment on the right side. If you would decide to mount those units on the left hand side, you would have less adjustment when mounting a dual band system. For the RH25 we do sell an adapter called the AC53 which will allow the unit to mount obversely. Either way, make sure you have maximum adjustment with the side you want to mount on.
Lastly, if your unit allows you to choose which side it best, choose the side that seems natural.
