The SYMBIOTE Modular Dovetail is an adapter that you can utilize to enable certain thermal monoculars to interface with the Symbiote Bridge. This dovetail is a requirement for units like the RIX ST6 or some of the AGM model thermal monoculars. This dovetail mount will allow you to run your unit on a bridge. When running a dual band system, most thermal and night vision units will require some accessories to make bridging work smoothly. A dovetail mount like this will allow for easy connection and disconnection to the bridge for when you want to change units around or store them in between use.

Will a 3D Printed Dovetail Actually Hold Up?

Absolutely. We utilize PA12CF material on very high performance printers. We then run the parts through secondary processes to fully bond the layers and increase strength at a molecular level. We are big advocates for dual band systems for the prepared citizen. A solid dual band system to us looks like any combination of night vision and thermal.
