The Scout lights come with a push button cap from factory, so this scout light rear cap is necessary for switches. Switches add versatility and function and allow prioritization on light position close to the muzzle.

The Surefire Scout UE-BK light rear cap is necessary when running pressure switches remotely.
while it is possible to run the surefire scout lights with their included push button tail cap, a tape switch is more versatile. Mounting the light closest to the muzzle is often ideal, and a tape switch allows more flexibility in placement.
The Surefire Scout light rear cap allows the use of several different switch configurations.

1.) What lights are compatible with the UE-BK tail cap?
This rear cap will work with all scout lights that are .75″ diameter. It will work with the M640DF, M640V, M340V, etc.
2.) What tape switches will work with the UE tail cap?
This rear cap will function with the Surefire SR and ST series of tape switches/pressure pads.
3.) Is a tape switch included?
