Symbiote Mini Rail Dovetail Adapter

The Symbiote Mini Rail Dovetail Adapter is designed to mount to your thermal device to enable mounting into the Symbiote Bridge. Many optics on the market interface with a Mini Rail, so you will need an adapter that then interfaces into a bridge or a dovetail mount.

Many Units (Like the MH25, RH25, FLIR Breech, Armasight Sidekick and MUM 14’s) feature mini rails. If your unit has a mini rail, this dovetail will likely interface and give you more functionality.

Symbiote Mini Rail Dovetail Adapter

If your current unit features a mini rail, then this Symbiote Mini Rail Dovetail Adapter is for you. Many optics on the market interface with a Mini Rail, so you will need an adapter that then interfaces into a bridge or a dovetail mount.

The Mini Rail Adapter answers the call

It is important to note that with EACH Symbiote Bridge we sell, we include ONE mini rail dovetail adapter. However, if you have a second unit (like an MH25, RH25, FLIR Breech, and MUM 14’s), then you will need to grab another dovetail adapter here.

Some nuances about this mini rail adapter:

You will find two different Allen set screws with your adapter. One is 1/4″ and the other is 3/8″ long. Recessed mini rails will use the longer set screw. For more shallow rails, use the shorter set screw. You want to ensure that the Allen screw does not protrude through the top of the dovetail, or mounting/fitment could be affected.

  • Brass Press in insert (already installed)
  • (One) 8/32 x 1/4″ Flat tip Allen set screw
  • (One) 8/32 x 3/8″ Flat tip Allen set screw

1.) What optics is this compatible with?

Answer: This dovetail is designed to adapt from mini-rail style interfaces like the FLIR Breach, MUM-14, ATN Odin, MH-25, RH-25…

2.) Why does it come with two set screws?

Answer: This comes with a 3/8” and ¼” set screw because some mini rails have a recess which requires the long screw, and some have a flat top which requires the short screw.

3.) Is this to be used on my right or left eye?

Answer: Either! When running this on a bridge it can be worn over either eye.

4.) How do I mount it to my helmet?

Answer: Once this dovetail is installed it’s compatible with every dovetail bridge on the market. Please note, tolerances vary greatly from different manufacturers so press the dovetail firmly into place until it latches and always tether your gear!
